Today is the opening of the Tina Turner Museum in the former restored Flagg Grove School in Brownsville, Tennessee.
Yesterday evening there was a private reception for some people to see the museum for the first time.
Robbie Montgomery, former Ikette and Rhonda Graam, Tina's personal assistant were among the invited people.
They were also shown a welcome video by Tina Turner!
Here are some photos. Thanks Keith Alton Gambill and Stephen M. Evans!
I wish everybody a great time and if you have any photos and/or videos, just contact us!

    Tina Turner

Sometimes you've got to let everything go -- purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything . . . whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.

I never said "Well, I don't have this and I don't have that." I said, I don't have this yet, but I'm going to get it.

I will never give in to old age until I become old. And I'm not old yet!

I didn't have anybody, really, no foundation in life, so I had to make my own way. Always, from the start. I had to go out in the world and become strong, to discover my mission in life.
