"Complicated Disaster" was 1 of the 4 new tracks that were released in 2004. Even though that this song had more power and was more up to date, it never became an official released single. The record company chose to release "Open Arms" instead as a single.
"Complicated Disaster" is a song about a wife who has found that her man is having an affair with another girl. The man is busted and the girl shares her story about this married man with his wife. Like Tina said in an interview, it’s an age old story about relationship problems. Tina’s voice is very strong and she really puts her emotion into the song. Very Nice!
Tina performed the song live in Germany 2005, during the awards show "Die Goldene Kamera". Tina won the Pop International Award. This was the only time Tina ever sang or performed the song as far as we know. Tina also didn’t make a promotion video for the song.
Although the song wasn’t released as an official single, Parlophone handed out 2 different Promo versions of Promo CD Singles of the song. A regular European Version and a Spanish version. The song is the same but the covers are different. Both are nice collectable additions to your Tina collection. Both editions can be found at online auction sites or record fairs.
